Ruger 44 mag red hawk

I just bought a 7.5 " Red Hawk on Gunbroker. I believe it is one of the last blued guns in this model (could be wrong) The gun is a beast! I don`t know of too many people that think these guns are not made for strength. All 3 44s that
I own are Rugers ,not a problem with any of them. I also like the looks of the guns . Just my .02

Time for some pics ...

You've got a good woman. And where do you live? Such a scenic area. Simply beautiful.

Thanks for the compliments in regards to the bride. I agree and I intend to hold on to her. :)

The pics were taken in Elmer Keith country in central Idaho.

I actually saw a 45 Colt 4" Ruger RH at BudsGunShop 2 days ago but it was gone within 30 mins.
You might want to make an effort to check Buds frequently.

I seem to have gotten lucky as the trigger is excelent.

I believe the rougher trigger pulls on the Redhawks are the exception to the rule. All RHs I've handled and shot had the smoothest, stack-free pulls I've seen on large double action handguns... with the possible exception of my late 60's vintage Smith model 29.

Redhawks are just smooooth in double action shooting.

hmmm... I wonder if they make a 4" in .41mag? I love the looks of that gun..
