Rossi lever action M92 value and quality?

Check Rossi sights with laser bore sight tool

before you buy a Rossi, check the sights with a laser bore tool. Mine shoots a foot high at 100 yards. It is a newer model 92. I went to the store where I bought it and the other 5 they had all sighted high. The front sight post is too low for the rifle. The store sent them all back to Rossi. Be careful. Rossi will not fix it under warranty.
 
I had the Rossi 92 in .45 Colt, and I was satsified with the little carbine, EXCEPT for its propensity for roughing up my brass.

I could have worked that out of it, but I got offered a substantial profit and jumped on it.
