Ron Paul to be on "Real Time" tonight

Any man who wants to get rid of the CIA wholesale is a total moron.
Why? The DIA does most of the same job and there are fourteen other alphabet soup agencies.

* Independent Agencies
o Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

* United States Department of Defense
o Air Intelligence Agency AIA
o Army Intelligence
o Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
o Marine Corps Intelligence Activity
o National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
o National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
o National Security Agency (NSA)
o Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI)

* United States Department of Energy
o Office of Intelligence

* United States Department of Homeland Security
o Coast Guard Intelligence
o Office of Intelligence and Analysis

* United States Department of Justice
o Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Directorate of Intelligence
o Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of National Security Intelligence (DEA)

* United States Department of State
o Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR)

* United States Department of the Treasury
o Office of Intelligence and Analysis

Then again I guess if we want to overthrow democratically elected socialists and instill puppet governments because it suits us we'll need the Virginia farm boys.

Nope. We don't need to do that any more. It was possibly necessary 50 years ago to counter Soviet communist aggression, but now that Reagan has crushed the commies I don't see a need to install governments friendly to us.

People who elect socialists to power will eventually learn the hard way.

Yeah, and if 9/11 was largely due in part to agencies not communicating with one another WITH a central information hub, what do you think will happen if as you suggest, its every agency for itself.

The FBI has a real great record of inter-agency cooperation:rolleyes:.

 I never suggested that it's "every agency for itself". All of those agencies report to a central government.

I'm not saying scrapping the CIA is a good idea but that doesn't mean a better solution isn't out there. At the very least if we're going to actually have a Central Intelligence Agency then perhaps some or most those other agencies need to fold into that central one so there's less waste.

How about Freedom of speech? I like Real time because people say what they want. Bill gives people the chance to speak there mind. Now Bill O'Riley on the other hand does not even give that chance. I do not like the fact that Bill M. says the crap about Good Church going people. The biggest thing is this Great country of ours gives us the chance to say if we like something or not. I have been in enough 3rd world counties (U.S. Army Disabled after 12 years AD) to know that if you open your pie hole you will loose it. Thats why when people say your un-American if you do not agree with the republican party. The thing that hurts us the most is Rep. and Dem. parties. Why can't we just have 2 or 3 Americans running for office.

Just a quick food for thought sidebar...

If you want to, kiddos, you can do what I did, and put "Vote Ron Paul" and a link to his website & announcement video, into your signature line on your personal emails you send - if you use microsoft outlook express for your email, go to Tools, then Options, and there's a signature tab there where you can utilize this feature, if you didn't already know.

How about Freedom of speech?

Please not the beginning of the following:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

See, "Congress shall make no law", so if it's not Congress limiting your speech, it's not a violation of "Freedom of Speech"! Sheesh!!
