Ron Paul supporters:

Joliet Jake,
Did I say 15,000 *voters*? No, I'm pretty sure I didn't.

Volunteers, as opposed to voters, are the people getting the word out "painting our faces", donating their time and money to something they believe in. How big is Rudy's volunteer corps...or Thompson's or whoever else?
Now if we're talkin' voters, that's a whole 'nother ball of wax. Last I heard we were pushin' a million and we're just getting this party started.

You'll see how many voters we've got at the Ames straw poll....oh, wait. I forgot...we already skeered Rudy and McCain away. :D

Paul won't pull more than 3% in the primary. Its that simple.

Good, vote for Rudy and watch Hillary win. Thanks for your support..........of the 2nd Amendment. I have never in my life seen so many alleged 2nd Amendment supporters, most who use to claim to be 1 issue voters, beat up on a confirmed PRO SECOND AMENDMENT candidate. Paul must have alot of pork barrel voters running for the slop hole. phweee ...pwheee....pwheeee......!!! :barf:

I don't think Hillary is a shoe in should Guliani run. That said, where did I ever say I was voting for Rudy. Moreover where did i ever say I was a one issue voter? But rather than confuse your with facts this anti-2nd amendment voter  will let you continue with your rant.

If Guliani gets the nomination I will vote for Hillary.
I also hope that this will lead to a trigger event that will finally get the required 6% to wake up and seriously take back their government.

Burn that strawman! I said (MOST).

and the reason I said to vote for (Rudy) is because he is the repub candidate winning in the polls and it's my opinion that whatever pro war candidate is nominated will lose in the general election. Not "Stage 2's" argument but the argument is, ="look at the polls, RP has no chance in the primary." The gun banning republicans Rudy, Romney, McCain, F Thompson, take your pick, it doesn't matter because they are not conservative, fiscally or in foreign policy and they all have proven votes they will not protect the Constitution/Bill of Rights for the people and each one votes to increase the power of the central government as opposed to the people and they all seem intent on continuing with the failed imperilistic Bush doctrine of world domination by military threat and deed. The very concept Eisenhower warned us against in 1961, the military-industrial-congressional complex.

Power to the People! Vote Ron Paul!

Cute. However again I never said vote for Rudy.

Further, I'd love to see what evidence you have about Thompson not being fiscally conservative other than "hes not Ron Paul".

What I love the most however is that on this board, and all of the other boards that I'm a member of, gun and otherwise, all of you paul supporters act the same. The minute someone dares mention another candidate or question one of Pauls positions, they are a neo-con, liberal, globalist who spits on the bill of rights. If this is the kind of support this guy recieves, its no wonder why no one wants to join the party.

I'll enjoy watching him go down in flames. Just keep mailing in those campaign checks.

Just read this thread. So to be fair, let me say what I said in the Fred Thompson thread:

I have an idea!

Those who want to discuss Ron Paul and why he might be a good candidate, stay right here.

Those of you who are advocates for Fred Thompson, there is already a thread for you. It's here.

Those of you that advocate for Rudy McRomney, start your own thread. Same goes to those that wish to advocate for Hillary or Obama.

But if you folks want to continue to "invade" specific threads to denigrate whichever candidate.... Well, I can just as easily shut them all down and you can all find some other venue to discuss your candidates. (don't answer... I already know this would make many of you happy)

How's that for fair and impartial?

Marko? Dave? Does stumping for a presidential candidate qualify under the Forum description?... Oh yeah, there's that pesky "general political issues" in the description... sigh... :barf:

The above rant was sarcasm, for the humor impaired.

I'm a huge Ron paul fan but I do agree with stage 2. While I don't particularly like Fred Thompson. That doesn't mean that me or any other Ron paul supporters should be so hatefull. I will vote for Ron paul but I am gonna be the first to admitt that Ron paul supporters are obnoxious! I know it is well ment but jeeze. Every time anything about Ron paul comes up on the internet, there are 10,000 supporters getting involved and saying the exact same thing as the person before. We really need to think about making people like us aswell as Ron Paul. We should support him while still using some Discretion when leaving posts.
