If "skyrocket" means his support among registered Republicans (those who can actually vote in most State's primaries) has increased from 0.05 % to 0.75% of Republicans who are likely to vote in the primaries, then I guess you're right.....
Paul's support among Democrats is very high. Of course, Democrats won't vote for Paul over Hillbama; instead, they'd just prefer for Republicans to pick Paul as the Republican candidate. And considering Paul's performance in the debates (and interviews), I'm not surprised by that.
