romanian .22's

Allow me to add one item to Bruegger's excellent instructions. After each sanding step, wipe the stock down with a tack rag. You can pick a tack rag up where you get the other supplies.

Pvt Joker, the Romanians have slots (? what's the right term?) for scope in the receiver. You can scope 'em.

Great!

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my romanian. It was like new when I purchased it. Have shot maybe 500 round through it. But the feed ramp is a little off and the rounds are hitting the bottom left side of the chamber. The chamber is now a little deformed to the point that it doesnot want to feed properly. How do I fix that? Do I have to take it to a gunsmith? Hate to spend another $50 -$70 to fix a $70 rifle.
Thanks for the help.

Joker, I got mine a couple of weeks ago and had it to the range this past weekend.I scoped it with a tasco 1.75x5.0 and shot a dime at 25 yards and a quarter at 50.Total cost- under $100.00.Not bad for an urban sniper.I highly recomend one, best bang for the buck.Later J.
