I ended up with some two piece see through mounts on mine to allow use of the iron sights. I have the Nikon P22. Don't remember who made them, but they were 11mm dovetails I found on Amazon. Held up pretty well for me
In my experience with all CZ rifles, clearing the bolt handle is more of a problem than the objective lens... and then you have to find the right size for the weird dovetail specs. Leopold make a good set of rings that fit well on the 455, but that was with a 40mm objective lens, and the bolt handle could be made to rub the eye-box. But it got my Redfield 2-7 x 40 real low. To remove the bolt I had to lower (rotate) the handle as it was removed.
I buy the cheap UTG or Accushot 1" medium on Amazon. I have them on my 452 and 455. They are priced less than 15$ and will not slip with 2 screws per ring.
I usually put a 1 pc rail on my rimfires and bolts as it gives me far more choices of rings than the dovetail mounts.
And I usually check with di products first. If not them then usually eveloution gun works.
Granted it ends up sometimes being more than a set of rings only, but I'm fine with that.
I agree with Ballisti that consulting a gunsmith will be the best way to get the correct fitting base/rings for your Nikon PROSTAFF 3-9x50 scope. This pic show's the Ruger base and Warne med. rings. They give a solid lock up, great quality and price. I hope you'll post some pics and a range report when you get the scope mounted. Let me kow if you have any question's on using the BDC reticle.
