Smoothness gets you a lot of fast, fun plinking. I just wish my Henry could be competitive compared to my bolt action. I'd love to shoot a silhouette match with it.

Get a 39a and put a scope on it. I outshoot mine with my anschutz, but the 39a ain't bad.

I have a model 250 Winchester I like. Hammerless lever. Here is a pic (far back). Although with a Henry you can't lose. I've read and heard great stuff about Marlin 39s although I have no personal experience with them.
