Right or wrong?

A few days ago I suggested TFL should start a roll of honour. Seems like we have another candidate.

From what I read.
Good shoot
Good investigative work
Proper call for back up
Proper move to rescue since perp leaving prior to back up arrival.
Proper use of appropriate force givin intel from investigation.

Should hold perp in isolation till AIDS tested. If positive, add attempted murder to his menue.

Get grand jury together asap so Granpaw can get quick "no crime". Save him a ton of legal money. Then give him a friggin medal at high noon in the town square with a band.

Nikita Khrushchev predicted confidently in a speech in Bucharest, Rumania on June 19, 1962 that: " The United States will eventually fly the Communist Red Flag...the American people will hoist it themselves."

Only thing I see wrong with this shoot is Grandpa needs some shooting lessons. :(

There's no such thing as too much love, too much money or too much ammo.

Despite the fact that the man was morally justified in what he did, he was legally justified under Gerogia law. Georgia law allows the use of deadly force to prevent the death or grave bodily harm to yourself or a third person and to prevent a forcible felony. Rape and kidnapping rape and kidnapping are forcible felonies.

Grandpa was blatently wrong. He should have shot said BG in the head, not in the leg. By leaving a witness to testify against him, he will probably have to endure a civil trial, and will have to spend about $60K to defend himself. The Taxpayers will have to spend another $100K to try said BG. If Grandpa could shoot, then the Taxpayers would get off the hook for less than 5K, and G'pa wouldn't have to endure the civil suit. Any Grand Jury should No Bill him though. The DA is stupid to pursue this one. Especially in an election year.

This is a perfect example why the RKBA should never be abrogated. Let's review the essential facts:

> A teenage girl is abducted, held for days, and repeatedly sexually assaulted
> Her grandfather -- a model citizen, by the way -- works tirelessly to find her
> The police do not rescue her, but her grandfather does
> In the process, one of three felons is wounded by the grandfather

Granddad deserves a medal. The BGs merit life without parole. I sincerely pray:
> The Fulton County Attorney and/or the Grand Jury will find no crime has been committed by the grandfather
> The child will be restored to excellent health: mental and physical
> The criminals will suffer in this life and beyond
> Gramps receives due recognition -- for bravery, tenaciousness, and intelligence -- from his family and his community

Has the esteemed low IQ DA managed to state who was assaulted??? It seems to me that Gpa was well within his rights to use deadly force. If he was within his rights to use deadly force then there can be no assault, or have we changed the definition of assault lately. I hope someone takes the DA to task for flase arrest, obstruction of justice false imprisonment, civil rights violations out the jing jang. As for Maj. Wanda Phife, you can kiss my dimpled butt you imbacilic moroon. It is probably pissed that this case is getting air time and more and more people are going to be made aware of the fact that LEOS are an after the fact thing with no actual responsabilty or ability to protect someone from harm.

I firmly believe the good Deacon messed up.
He deserves another shot at it.

This time, take a deep breath, and sqweeeeze!

I'd like to imagine that a deacon in the south won't be prosecuted for somethng like this. Not on the grounds that it will raise issues which will make the police look bad. Not on Second Amendment grounds. But on the idea that it was the right thing to do. He didn't even kill him. That in and of itself is comendable. I'd of had a harder time exercising restraint.

This is the exact thing that is scaring the sh*t out of me.He was completly right BUT.
Now he has to get a lawyer and fight against a system useing taxpayers money(ours)that can outspend him probably 10,000 to one.And they will do it because it isn't their money and there are no reprocussions when they lose. This is all a crock and something needs to be done about it.His lawyer fees when they lose should come out of the DA's wages and maybe that idiot cop thats pushing it too.
My rant for the day.Got to take BP pill now.

We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world;
and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding twelve men
every day who don't know anything and can't read.

Is the guy charged in Fulton County or in the City of Atlanta. It's not clear to me from the article.

Nothing would surprise me coming from the City of Atlanta. It is a clear case of the lunatics running the asylum.

Fulton County charging him would surprise me a little. Too bad it wasn't in Cobb or Fayette; the police would be giving him a medal. I think we should.

In fact, why don't we? I live in Atlanta, and propose we present this guy with a medal and a stipend of some amount. Any backers?

But the police will protect you and your 13 year old grandchildren. I have it on no less an authority than Jim and Sarah Brady.

Can anyone find this guy's address or something, someplace we can send him money and letters of support? I simply don't have the time or resources.

This man is an absolute hero. We all at the TFL easily have enough resources to support his fight, if it gets to that. I'm in, $20.
