Right handed & left eye dominant

Which eye?

I'm a righty, but i am not sure which eye is dominant. Unfortunately I think that my left eye is in charge though. What is the best way to figure out which eye is dominant? I will be buying my first shotgun next week, so this would be a good time to figure it out

I went clay shooting with my friends a few weeks back and was shooting right handed with one of their 870s, and didnt have any problems. Busted my first one and then hit about 90% of the rest Doing this i was shooting with both eyes open. Suggestions?

I am also right handed and left eye dominant. If you're left eye dominant shoot off your left side, period!!! Some will tell you that you can train to shoot off your non-dominant eye. That might be true to an extent but you will always be naturally dominant with one eye or the other. Like I said I am right handed and I am completely useless with my left hand when it come to most things but I learned very quickly to shoot off my left shoulder once I learned that I was left eye dominant.

P.S. Do not try shooting off one shoulder and sighting in with the opposite eye. That's the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.
