Rifle in 7.62x54r

I have a more than a few good rifles, and I have to tell you that I'm amazed with my "Mosin". I'v only shot surplus ammo in it and the acuracy is awesome. The 75 lb trigger can be doctored, makeing it just fun. It is not my best rifle, but @ $0.11 it sure is fun. I do plan to knock a few yoteys down with it. Anyway I say try one.
 
I really want to wait for the tigrs to be imported again, then i may get one of those.

If import restrictions on the SVD and clones didn't open up during the last presidency, what do you think the chances are of it happening during this one? In fact, I doubt it will ever happen, simply because nobody but a few rooskigun-nerds like us cares about it in the first place. The import ban has been around long enough that nobody knows what they are missing, which is arguably not much considering all the great stuff that is imported and made here.

I talked to some folks at EAA about possible future Tigr imports and they were no more optimistic than I.
