Well, Andrew, I disagree.The "gun issue" is the only yardstick I have to hold up to a political hopeful. Few of them are able to reach national prominence without establishing a record in that area, it's been closely watched for years. I think one has to disregard about everything a candidate tells you about himself and look at what he's actually done. Also, relying on the Republican majority to further conservative values seems to be somewhat disappointingly inneffective, seems to me.
