Rice declares:

Have faith, brethren...

With her walk-in closets packed with skeletons, she is capable of beating herself way more than anyone else is.

Wait a minuite, I lost my head there - I forgot to take in to account the stupidity and gullibility of The American Sheeple. Looks like we're in real trouble...

Most of her supporters don't care how many skeletons are in there, or which are hers and which are her husband's. If she runs, it's going to be a major problem. If she runs and loses, the Democrats can all scream about how sexist America is.

Ahhh I never thought of this aspect. There would be a feminist movement the likes of which never seen before. Can you imagine it?!?!

I think I would have to become silent for a long while if this happened, because I have argued with an angered feminist before and although I dont think I was wrong I sure as hell lost the battle.......

From the article referenced by MoW:
Rice: I don't want to run for president
WASHINGTON (AP) — For Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, no means no — and no again — when it comes to whether she will run for president.

"It's not what I want to do with my life, it's not what I'm going to do with my life," Rice said Sunday on NBC's Meet the Press.
That's fine. But here's something that many don't know about Condie. She never asks for the positions she's taken. She does it out of a sense of responsibility.

No, she won't run on her own. But if enough people ask her, and she believes she has a chance, her own moral conviction of personal responsibility will kick in.

i agree. while she is better than hillary, she is not high on my list at the moment. i would much rather pull for gingrich but i doubt he has a chance in hell.

I think condie is a very great canidate. Shes smart and has her priorities in the last place.

BUT... her herself isnt what worries me.

What worries me is the african american community. Not only that but a woman president  . I do believe a woman can do the job right. But I think this isnt the right time.

Hillary won't win the DNC nomination. It will be Kerry especially since hes working his but off to stay in the mainstream media. Hell I can surely say if it werent for the swift vets we wouldn't have Bush where he is now.

Seeing as how the Katrina disaster etc... happend I think it turned out to be a good thing. Seeing as how if Kerry was elected he would not have been broken into the white house yet.

Either way since anything is possible if Condi VS. Hillary is the case we will have to see both of their ugly faces on a daily basis. Thats not something I want to have happen.

I do not pick who I vote for by associated party. Im democrat but depending on who runs ill vote Republican.

Top of my list:
Gulliani (I REALLY HOPE SO!!!)
Kerry (Isn't as anti as some believe)
McCain
Hillary (UGLY AS HELL)
Condi (UGLY AS HELL)

Andrew

Top of my list:
Gulliani (I REALLY HOPE SO!!!)
Kerry (Isn't as anti as some believe)
McCain
Hillary (UGLY AS HELL)
Condi (UGLY AS HELL)

Gulliani????? lol, funny.
Kerry isnt as anti as I believe? I think youre right, I mean, who needs 15 rd mags? and telescoping stock? COME ON THOSE ARE FOR CRIMINALS!!

McCain, hmm.

Hillary... once again, lol, funny.

Condi, Ugly, yes, president material? could be.

Many woman had run and still run countries and did a great job, I said it before and will say it again , I am not one of those feminist or whatever you call them but I know what woman are capable of doing, I agree man can do things a woman can't and woman can do things a man can't. Having said that I think a woman president maybe is what we all need but as of now and in this case neither Condolences or Hillarious would be a good thing for us.

Since before Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon all politicians have wanted to be in a position where they are perceived as doing higher office because the electorate have forced it upon them, not on the basis that they have wanted it.

I therefore expect Condy to say no a few more times yet.

Hillary won't win the DNC nomination.
She's already won, there is no doubt at all she will be the democratic nominee. Kerry is a joke, he'll get eaten alive by Hillary. Plus he's about as anti-RKBA as they come, despite the half-hearted effort propaganda effort to portray him as a hunter. And he still hasn't released his full military records.

McCain is dead to the conservative base, he'll never win the primaries, he'd be a fool to try. Gulliani is too liberal for the base, he's a media darling but that doesn't translate into impressing republican primary voters, the opposite if anything.

As far as women presidents, Thatcher did a hell of a job.

Ahhh I never thought of this aspect. There would be a feminist movement the likes of which never seen before. Can you imagine it?!?!

Just food for thought. Isn't it amazing that women can come together, and organize better than 83 million gun owners. If a woman runs, I think a woman will win. But not necessarily because she can do a better job. I am not saying she can't. It will be happen when the timing is right, and the political climate can fully support a woman president. It won't have much to do with qualifications. At least not the first time. It will be to set a precedent.

You have to think that when you vote it should not be based soley on what the part thinks about guns. Put some true thought into it. As long as we have a Republican Majority in the house and senate its really not a big issue. A president isnt the person with the power to get rid of firearms or certain items such as 15 rd mags.

There is a slight chance that whoever is elected will want firearms gone asap (I think Hillary is most likley). IM not willing to give up all firearms and accesories. But if I have to sacrafice a few things I want so I can have a president that can do the job I sure as hell will vote for someone thats slightly opposed but doesnt pose a threat.

The problem with that kind of thinking Andrew is that we are just now starting to make strides back to where we once were.

I'm not willing to vote for anyone who would halt this progress, even just a little.
