7 year old thread, I will comment. I recently bought a 462, because I wanted a second 357 for the house, and wanted a 6 shot. I paid just a few $$ under $300. I have taken it to the range twice, and both times, I have been impressed. It shoots to point of aim, and everything works perfectly. Spent brass eject easily, and shows no issues. I did "haze" the finish a bit with a Scotch Brite pad. I couldn't stand the fingerprints that the GLEAMING finish constantly showed. It now has a finish that looks like the hazy finish S&W puts on their stainless guns, and its much better, IMHO. Its still very shiny, but the fingerprint issue is gone.
Great revolver, and I would recommend it to anyone.
