I have no experience with J&G, so I won't touch that one. However, I have found R-Guns to be somewhat dishonest.
In early December, I ordered a few "Factory Sig P-226" High capacity mags from them, at a premium price of course, but I was in a hurry to beat the new Cali restrictions at the end of the month, so I sucked it up and convinced myself it was worth it since I wouldn't be able to later, and they were after all, FACTORY mags. The shipment was late, getting here after Christmas, and when I opened it, I was steamed! They sent me what appear to be aftermarket mags. They are totally generic - definately no "SIG SAUER" stamp much less "SIG SAUER P-226" - no name or stamp or markings what so ever. They appear to be reasonable quality, but are not what I was expecting. Of course, I could return them, but would not be able to exchange them for anything other than 10 rounders. I'm not a happy camper. I feel that either their advertising was dishonest, or they took advantage of the folks from Cali rushing to pick up a last minute magazine. Either way, not very respectable.
I'll also second the no-go for Botach. I've been convinced to call them a few times, but if your not an LEO, they act like your wasting their time. They're not very friendly, and they don't seem to value your business.
As for the "Good Guys", I'll second the vote for CDNN and Bachman Pawn & Gun. Great folks. Jersey City was good, but I've only dealt with them once. Midway is great for reloading stuff, and Cabellas has treated me good as well.
I've already taken up too much space, so I'll stop with this thought... In todays society, the concept of true "customer service" is all but dead. We, as consumers, must share this information in order to reward the companies that are doing it right, so they will continue. It may also help to remind the companies who have "forgotten" what "service" means.
