Resale values - going up? going down?

AR15............even if they ban them, there are so many out there that it's like investing in sand.
AK47 (and such).............Unless they are original imports, same as the AR15.

Truer words have never been spoken. :) IMHO the same goes for 95%+ of hi-cap 9mm and .40S&W pistols. This is why I was shaking my head as people were loading up on them in early 2009. :rolleyes:

Values may spike again if there is another threat of a ban, but there are so many more of these guns in circulation now that I don't think values will jump as far or for as long as in 2009.

One exception: I can see a collector market developing for 100% original, unmolested, early-production Colt ARs. But that's it.
