Reply to ADL in ref to TRT wearing Star of David

I've got gay friends who shoot. And if I'm out with them, and we run into more "politically correct" folks, I try to bring up situations like Stonewall and the recent situations of gay bashing that have made the news...

I'm not proud. I'll ask ANYONE to go to the range with me. If RuPaul wants to dress up in high heels and a 3' tall wig, hey, I'll find a nice color-coordinated handgun... We need the converts...
 
damned right we need every one - converts and ALL those who believe as we do - it is absolute that we require all to get off their butts & get active.

In all my dealings re activism, I've seen such division between those of us who are all but on the same page in most all aspects .... but, we'll bicker & split those fine hairs to the nth degree to drive our point home. The whole time, the antis are laughing their a$$e$ off & taking it away.

In a forum scenario, the bickering can be fun - a great stress reliever, etc. - hey, I like a good one as much as any - but, when it comes down to the wire, we must form coalitions, put aside those "other differences," and kick some butt.

& I do think that we must get out on the streets and counter ANY of those who would attempt to take away even one more bit of our freedoms. Only after we stop this can we even begin to think about taking any back.
(usual disclaimer about winning those small battles in the meantime ;) )
 
Oh yeah & re Glass' sites being either down or not updated ....

You (most - some may) cannot believe the dedication, time & effort that has gone into what has become TRT - started by 7 good folk, what?, 6 1/2 months ago & now ... ?

Glass has a business (my mil firearms shop guy), is unbelievably active in this effort ("We want nothing less than to start a revolution. If it may be peaceful - well & good and that IS the way (preferably to do it - if possible) - but, if not, so be it." paraphrased but these are my words as much as Bob's .... maybe get into that later)

The time involved is startling. I'm the "com guy," hold all the e-mails lists, do the "hittin' the boards" bit activism/s, some radio, etc. + The Wife's (aside from being another TRT founder) active in SAS/AIMM & attempting to pull all the ladies into this, does the radio bit & oh by teh way, we even have jobs & want to smooch occasionally .... ;)

You cannot imagine the 90%+ that nobody ever sees/hears about & the time involved.

Not a bitch (do I hear the music in the background? ;) ) ... more of an explanation.

8/22, I actually came into TFL and played. Got into The Rifle, reloading .... etc. & actually had a good time. Been way too long coming in here to just poke around & play .....

Sorry folks, I kinda just "went there" ....

Anyway, that's why Bob's site ain't up to par. ;)

PS: Talked to one ADL sympathizer yesterday...she said something about dislikeing extremists like JDL (http://www.jdl.org) though she's making no comment on JPFO (boggled her mind too much, I bet).
