Remlin Levergun Quality Updates for 2014: Put them here

Keg,
I didn't bother to take detailed photos in anticipation of any future need to prove anything to you

My post was'nt directed to U....U already stated your opinion....Don't take it personal....

The videos and pics..I have found..Youtube..etc....are after Remington took over....

Keg,
I stated my observation about quality & the very next post was you asking for proof.
Naw, I didn't take it personally.

I bought a new 444 in 89 and upon closer inspection at home found the butt stock cracked where the stock bolt goes thru the tang. I called the gun store and took it right back, we went thru 3 more with varying degrees of issues in this same area. As luck would have it the best one, with no crack had the plainest piece of wood. Outwardly all the guns looked pretty nice.

I was at a Walmart today....There were 2 Marlin 30-30 lever actions..so I asked to see each....One had a big loop lever and one had a normal lever....The first thing I noticed was how heavy they were....Then the largest forearm I had ever seen on a lever action....They reminded me of a 2x4.... Thats the closest I can describe.... I can't imagine anyone buying either of these guns....
