Same unfortunate outcome with Colt. The once prized high quality handgun mfg has been bought , bled , sold , bought etc multiple times by thieving greedy equity holding companies and what you currently have is a Taurus quality handgun with a Colt logo...

For financial shenanigans may I recommend "But the Pension Fund Was Just Sitting There" by G. B. Trudeau? Or any of the Scott Adams Dilbert books.

I've mentioned this before but in the 1980's one of my coworkers at our high tech firm eyed the money in the coffee kitty and opined with this much actual hard currency cash on hand WE could take a run at orchestrating a leveraged buyout the company. In retrospect that would have been a good move for all involved.

I think someone will buy the Remington brand and factory, and Remington will continue with the profitable products.
