Remington 710 vs. Remington 770

Until it breaks... Which shouldn't be for a while and you should get decent use out of it, just don't expect it to keep market value over time. My dad bought a 7mm rem mag 770 as a backup in case his 700 7mm STW breaks or some unforeseen event prevents him from using his main rifle. I opted for a Howa over the Remingtons because of the three position safety that locks the bolt. My dad likes it since he has lost a couple of STW rounds when the bolt gets snagged on some thick brush and he doesn't see or hear it.

But the 710/770's are still rifles and I want to shoot one. :D
