One of those was my first repeater. It was very accurate, and easy to put a scope on with the grooved receiver.
When the Ruger 10-22 started showing up in our town, I traded the Remy off for one of those. I was sold on the detatchable mag. jd
I still have my 552 Deluxe that my Dad gave me in 1981. Have kept it in pristine condition and still shoots like a dream. Will go to my son when he is older.
