REM 7600 scope or not to scope!

I definetly agree with Scorch on this one. I had used open sights on a Rem 700 3006 for years because every shot was limited to 100 yds and less. ( mostly under 40 yds) It wasn't until I started hunting in northern Missouri where the shots could range up to 350 or so, that I scoped my deer rifle...... and I never looked back!!!!!:)

7600 by design has a free floated barrel the accuracy is there to make it worthwhile to scope. To keep the fast handling of the pump I would use a 2-7 or 1-4. If you do scope it for the love of God do not use the see through scope mounts. See though mounts are easily one of the worst ideas ever.
