Reloading the 22 TCM

Is there anyone out htere still interested in the 22TCM

Man this was a fun read and a trip back in time - Sure wish I could find some affordable projectiles.

Maybe someone has some they's love to get rid of.

Yes I know is 2024.

@tangolima
I managed to make it work with 45gr hp bullet for .224 BEE.
may I ask if you could share some more approximate details: like exact bullet size, the OAL you ended with, how deep did you sit it, what powder?

Sure. The bullet length is 0.5". COAL is 1.165". I needed to trim the brass shorter so that the brass neck stayed on the bullet's bearing surface, or it would have problem feeding. It shot pretty ok. But cycling the action (Glock 19 with conversion barrel and light recoil spring) was unreliable till I used heavy charge of slow magnum powder. Basically the bullet is too light to generate enough momentum. With magnum powder, the slide just got "rocketed" back to cycle. It is loud with a lot of flash. I got close to 1700fps.

Powder was ramshot enforcer. The faster true blue almost worked but not quite.
