Reloading manual recommendation

"Complete Guide To Handloading" by Phillip B. Sharpe (ca)1937 ,,,kidding but it is fun and interesting to have around.

Agree with the rest: Lyman 49 is a "must have" and I have; Hornady, Nosler, Speer, Sierra as well. My Hornady is a 3rd edition…. probably time to update.

For those looking for a free option check the Google Apps.

I found one last night call "Reloading Assistant" that had a ton of bullet options for each caliber.

The Lyman 49 is my favorite although I also have the Lyman Pistol & Revolver Handook along with my Sierra, Lee, Accurate Smokeless Powder book and a number of manufacturers downloads from the web. I also have a number of old manuals for reference. They really pushed the envelope in the old days, todays manuals have much lighter loads in them.

I've read them all from cover to cover and learned a lot of little things what were important.

Finding a good load is one thing, then I use a chronograph to test them for speed which is never exactly what the manual says. I also test everything for accuracy.

If you can use all of them. Including the old manuals. Most are on the internet and not hard to find.

Skeptical here. Got any links? I think you really have to buy the book, if Speer, Nosler, Hornady, Lyman, et al. Powder companies though do publish their data on their websites.
