reloading app

Im not sure what you mean by swipe . This is/was the first time opening the app . I have no data or logs in the app as of yet . Swiping anywhere on the screen does nothing .

I have no existing record as I just bought the app, so i can't even make a copy of an existing record. Since I bought it a few days ago, i haven't been able to begin using it because as of now, it is non-functioning. I will be patient and wait for the update

Thank you for the patience all. I guess Apple does not do app reviews on weekends. Anyway, I have verified that the update is now available to download.

Please let me know if you have any questions

I updated the app and it seems to be working . Another couple things you may consider adding is bushing size in the case info . More primers in the preset area like CCI . There was something else but I forgot what it was .

I like it though could be very helpful . I'll just have to see how often having that info on my phone actually comes in handy . If I'm loading , all that info is on the desk in front of me in binders so it's unlikely I'd pull out my phone to look it up . That said , I remember once thinking I'd never need a Ipod because I had a CD player , boy was that a dumb way of thinking so we'll see how this goes .

I'll be interested if you ever release an android version. I swore on my grandfather's grave I will never own an apple product.. ;)

Metal,

I have pre-loaded CCI primers and added bushing and competition shell size. In addition to your request I have added head space, lot number for primer, bullet, case, and powder. I hope it helps and please let me know if you would like to add anything else. I should be able to release an update by the end of this week.

Many thanks!

Thanks I appreciate you doing that and the competition shell holder number is a good idea .

Last night I was going through my binders adding load data to the app for various loads I've worked up . On a few of my calibers I load for I use micrometer seating dies . Under bullet seating I'd like to be able to note the micrometer setting . I tried using the seating depth description but it only allows a 0 to 5 number be entered ie 2.56 having to use a "." in the number . I'd be more then happy to use that area for my seater die setting but it wont let me enter 256 , it must be 2.56 which is what I'm doing now . So either adding a seating die setting or allowing the user to enter what ever number they want in some areas of the app would be great .

Under Basic input I'd like to have Firearm , caliber and name . Although I can just use the comment section to describe those other things . My point here is . I load for multiple firearms in the same caliber and knowing which one the load is for would be great . So really caliber and firearm would be all I'd need . Not sure "name" is needed . Maybe the preloaded drop box gives you caliber and you can just write in the firearm the load is for on the next line or something like that .

Thanks again I really do appreciate you taking our thoughts under consideration and changing things to help us out . This will be noted in my review once I give one .

PS

If you're in there again tweaking things . Norma brass would be good to add to the preloaded cases . I use a lot of LC ( Lake city ) head stamped cases . How ever adding that to the preloaded cases may not be that helpful because the head stamp is LC- followed by the year manufactured and I'd need to manually add that each time anyways . Since I'll be needing to manually enter part of it , having to also enter LC is not a big deal .

Hi Metal,

Thank you very much for taking time and providing a feedback. Please kindly note the precision loading is new to me, so I am educating my self as we go. Definitely having a feedback like yours is huge benefit to us all.

I will add the bullet seating micrometer, I tried to look up the documentation and confirm what could a maximum value for the micrometer setting. I guess a number with the values ranging from 0 to 1000 and decimal points should be allowed.
In fact, I ordered a micrometer over the weekend so I can better understanding how it works and make sure I am doing the right thing in the program. Because I plan to add neck diameter etc.

Consider the brass information is done. I will include in the release.
I will do the firearm information over the next weekend. I just need to be careful not record too much information. I guess I can always make the certain fields optional. This will be done on the next release. Hopefully before the end of September. I will also include a search option on the main screen.

Many thanks,

Telman

thank you for your patience all, I have added CCI primers and a bunch of other case manufacturers. The new release should be available for update through the app store.

Next release should include rifle information. As always if you have any suggestions or a feedback please let me know. I am learning tons of new things while I am creating the app, special thanks to all members who took time and shared their feedback and knowledge.
