Reloading 223/556 on Single stage

Wendy.... I don't trim cases every loading... in fact, sometimes I go 3 or 4 loadings without worrying about it.

If you use the Lee factory crimp die, case length is not as critical as with conventional dies.

Same thing with de-burring. If you don't trim, you don't need to de-bur.

I usually size/deprime and clean primer pockets, tumble, then load. I don't use the hand primer, I have a separate little Lee press that is dedicated to priming.
 
I'm re using a few that have 3 firings under them now. A lot of these the trimmer never touches. Even with the hassle of prepping my reloads are a lot more accurate than the factory fmj. With a 1x6 vortex strike eagle it was shooting moa with an ar off the bench today at 100 yards and the Hornady fmj and Hornady v max both being 55 grain and 24 grains of benchmark are hitting same point of impact. That is a good looking trimmer to trim chamfer and debur at same time.
