Recommendations for Pocket Gun

Rain, it's 200 rounds. And even so, why is that a problem? I picked up an RS9 recently and couldn't be happier. I much prefer it in size and trigger pull to the PM9.

How does the Rohrbaugh shoot?

Just curious. I have a PM9, and it shoots like a much bigger pistol (IE easy to shoot accurately, and recoil is surprisingly minimal with 147gr HydraShok).

How does the Rohrbaugh compare for accuracy and controllability?

I'll have to say the R9 has always intrigued me. The question is: does Rohrbaugh sell recoil springs by the gross?

Ky - you can't shoot it enough to want that many springs. 100-150 round at the range and your hand will be tired, at least the webbing between your thumb and finger :)

As to accuracy - I think it's very good at 10y and in. I've shot the PM9 too and found myself more accurate with the Rohrbaugh. I don't want to disparage the PM9, people love it, I just like the RS9 more.

And yes, it is less volume than the PM9, very easy to pocket carry. I think the PM9 is bulky in the pocket.

Kahr PM9

I have a Kahr PM9. It weighs about 16 ounces unloaded, is dimensionally a fraction the size of the baby Glock, has been 100% reliable, and has displaced my j frames from pocket carry altogether. 6+1 9mm +p in an ultraconcealable platform is tough to beat, only potential drawback is the pricetag. Good luck in your quest.

Dang...just research a Kahr PM9 and that gun is expensive for it's size:eek:!!! I guess due to it's size, but still sheesh. And good luck finding one too, out of 5 diff models only had 1 in stock out of all five models. Sounds like ppl like'm

I use a Polish P-64 (I think I saw one for sale just now on this forum). More powerful than a .380 and lighter than most 9mm.
