Recommendations for lever action rifle in .44 or .357

Go look at a Marlin Model 1894 chambered it 44 Magnum. Its not as shiny as the Henry, but is more accurate from my experience with the two. I also think its just a little bit cheaper

I just recently picked up a "Remlin" from 2010 in 44Mag. Still has the North Haven Conn. stamp on the bbl. Found it used in my LGS. I've only put about 50rds thru it but it functions perfectly. Shoots a little high at 50yds but I can fix that. Yesterday I picked up a 336W in 30-30 at a pawn shop for $299 OTD. Taking it to the range today to see how it shoots. Its from 2002 and a real Marlin. I handled a couple of Big Boys in 45 Colt, they were heavier than the Marlins because of the octagonal bbl. I like the side eject on the Marlins over the top eject on the others.

I've got a Henry Big Boy in 45 Colt and that thing is a sweet shooter. No problems at all. Best of all, made 100% in the United States of America. That still means something to some folks.
