Recent Vintage Pistols to Become Classics

Nothing I own is for financial reasons, just for personal interest. But I think that interest is shared by others. I like Cold War pistols, and I like the early Wonder-Nines (with metal frames).

I don't know if anything I have will ever make me rich, but I do think a few will become "classics" sometime down the road.
  • CZ 75 pre B
  • Beretta 92FS
  • East German Makarov
  • S&W 39-2

These are generally "known" pistols, and as the market moves away from them, the interest will probably increase.

Early 1950's 9mm Colt Commanders
Colt officer model
Early Colt Mustangs .
American Ranger made PPK/s S&W mess raised price of these a lot already.
Only French/German more expensive .

S&W 3913

I have not heard the word "classic" used as a pistol descriptor in any accepted firearm values publication. Of course we can call any of the pistols mentioned classics or duds or whatever one would like to call it in a GB ad to enhance the sales aspect. That is my " wet blanket" posting for today.
