Same greedy neighbors as last time. Nobody can buy that much ammo or mags. It's the dealers. One guy on GB alone has hoarded over 7,000 Glock mags. I'm fed up with all of it. You can't do a thing because of your own kin screwin' things up!
Almost bought some green tip 556 at Academy a week ago. $420 for 1000 rounds. Pretty gross when 40 cents a bullet sounds reasonable and that's for such a tiny round. The run up in 556 prices make the 308 rounds not look as terribly expensive.
I got in before the madness began...but I hate to shoot anything other than 22LR before supply catches up and prices stabilize for the centerfire stuff.
Is it paranoia? I think it is, that said, i too am participating in it. If i knew where to get some ammo, i'd buy it. Its pretty sad when you cant even find any .22LR.
