"Yes Big fan of Ruger Revolvers and semi's. Love my Gp-100."

I have never shot the 4" but would expect it to be very Accurate, reliable and a good CCW.

Thanks ryucasta. Probably not, but any other pros or cons besides capacity?

Anyone with firsthand experience with an Eclipse vs. a "regular" Custom?

Tony, I pick up my new GP-100 this week, can't wait!

The only thing I could think right now, is that individuals with small hands would have a little more difficult time with the larger grips. SV, STI and Caspian tend to be priced higher than the $1,200.00 you originally mentioned. Para's tend to be priced between $700.00 and $900.00 here in Los Angeles.

BTW, I own several of all the brands that I mentioned with my preference being SV but thats in a different price range their single stack sells for a little over $1,700.00 for the plain version.

BTW, this is what you'll get for about $1,800.00 from SV. I currently own two of these single stacks, one in 45ACP and the other in 40S&W. I have yet to find a factory gun that come close to the workmanship that SV provides, the only downside is the price. But heck you only live once and I cant take it with me.
:D

That is just a piece of art!

I gotta pace myself though (4th gun this month  )... maybe once I settle a bit I can go for the more exotic stuff.
