READ BEFORE POSTING: World Trade Center Terror Attack?

A plane has just crashed into the top of the World Trade Center which is now aflame. Early reports are speculating as to whether it is a deliberate terrorist attack.

ABC is reporting that two planes struck the building. One flew directly into it and the second plane circled before clipping the building with its wing. Apparently they have video of the second impact.

Looks deliberate to me...
 
Smells like a terrorist attack to me...

But we should be sure to take a "wait and see" attitude with initial reports like these.

I can't even get onto any news sites right now. The Internet just locked up...

News is reporting 2 planes.

Wife reported they have video of 2nd place hitting the 2nd tower.

Certainly a terrorist attack, 2 couldn't be a coincidence.
 
According to MSNBC, the FBI thinks one of the planes, at least, was hijacked from Kennedy right before the crash...
 
:( No doubt it was a terrorist attack. They're coming and it doesn't look like we're ready.

BTW, none of the news sites will come up for me either.
 
The second one came in while all the cameras were on the first building. It was a commercial sized jet (757? One engine on each wing).

update: Our secretary has a radio. It appears that a 737 and DC9 crashed into both towers. Debris is still falling from the builings and a fire is raging. The FBI reports a possible hijacking occured shortly before the incedent. Shiiit!

The planes "attacked" 18 minutes apart.
 
This is effing terrible....

Apparently, an AA jet from Boston to LA was highjacked and was the second jet to slam into the building...just saw the video...terrifying...

This is the most horrible thing I've ever seen...
 
NYC has been locked down...

Bridges, train, subway, airport and tunnels closed...

They're evacuating everything around the WTC

Markets will not open today...
 
Just reported that Manhattan is "sealed off," Stock Exchange closed, F-16s have scrambled (flying CAP?), Bush was just on (radio) stating "terrorist attack" & reports of a third plane! in the area.

Some sketchy info (at best) - we "shot" the TV months ago & relying on radio .... news.com down ...

Pentagon bombed!? report just in ......
 
I pray for peace to all of the citizens who just perished a few minutes ago in NYC at the World Trade Towers simply working to keep their families going.

I trust those yellow-belly terrorists are gloating at their accomplishment.

I wonder if they would have equal voracity in facing those of us citizens anywhere, anytime that are armed and good to go as opposed to those that have zero interest in their endeavors? :D

Now it seems that someone has detonated a bomb (or a plane crashed) at the heliport at the Pentagon....
