Re-bluing a revolver

I didn't say it was preferrable, but that steaming is an alternative to long tanks of boiling water. I have done it, and it works very well with Brownell's Belgian Blue.
BTW- steam is boiling water.
 
Can you get the wobble out of this JMcCurdy? What would you charge?

This book may still be available out there somewhere with the net maybe a search will bring it up. I ran across it years ago and its the most comprehensive blueing book I have found.
lots of emphasis on the older methods used, chemicals, excellent details and not overwhelming with formulas.
