You only buy one cylinder. It's the metering screws that you buy for each load.
I did buy the conversion parts to make one of my Uniflows into a quick change. I still use the same small hopper.......don't know if RCBS will sell a quick change hopper.....if so, you'd have to order it direct from RCBS. Neither Midway nor Grafs list Q.C. hoppers for sale.
To convert my Uniflow I bought, from Midway, from the top left in the picture below,Clockwise: (sale prices) the drop tube adaptor ($3.39), the Q.C. cylinder($24.50), the small cavity metering screw ($12.50), the large cavity metering screw ($8.50) and the powder drain attachment ($7.60). Sale prices there are more than I paid a few months ago regular price.
Notice the holes/depressions in the inserts where the cylinder's quick change pin springs into and locks them into place:
also available (I didn't buy) is the high capacity measuring screw for $17.00....maybe Weatherby Magnums, or H&H, etc?....I don't know.
Midway also lists for $10 a plastic drop tube set, that uses the adaptor shown in the first picture above.
My small cavity screw did not match the cylinder exactly....see the picture below:
I fixed it by cleaning up the cavity the quick change pin drops into. RCBS will replace such a metering screw, but it was an easy fix so I didn't bother them.
Notice the reason for the long sleeve on the small screw.....it has to reduce the cylinder cavity diameter.
