Range ammo...weird Wolf rule

Over time, in a busy range, a surprising amount unburned powder can accumulate on the ground just forward of the line.

"why do mine ban Wolf, but allow Blazer aluminum?"

Aluminum is still worth something. Steel costs more money to recycle than it is worth.

Good point, maybe I have to give the counter guy more credit than I did.

But now I am thinking. I have been to this range many times and I don't remember a sign about not using wolf. In fact, no one at the counter has ever asked me what ammo I am using before I go to my lane assignment.

Next time I will do more checking. Anyway, these days I go to a different range that's close by, they allow pistol only, which is normally all I shoot.
