Raging Bull 44 Magnum

Rambilt, I have an old cheap Tasco Pro Point red dot in Silver that I use for hog hunting or just plinking at the range. I first bought a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8X32mm in silver which was kinda pricey at $485. My buddy bought a Bushnell Elite 2-6x32 Multi-X in silver. It was a lot cheaper at $255 and to me just a better scope. It has 20" of eye relief v/s 15" of the Leupold and Draws a little more light as well. As far as the clarity goes, I can tell no difference between the two with the only exception being that the one weekend I had it , the Leupold fogged a little bit on one of the days it rained while I was in the shooting house. Long story short, I took the Leupold back and got the Bushnell. It has yet to fog and its been in some nasty weather with me seting outside in a tree stand. The mount I have , I bought when I bought the gun and is from Taurus as well. It is just like the one in Coop2564's photo above.

hydroholic, thanks a lot for the info. I may have to order the scope mount from Taurus site. I'm currently looking at Nikon scope at Cabelas website. I'll check out the bushnell also.

I saw a RB 454 8 3/8 barrel for 799.00 Is that a good price?

Not a bad price. Last one I saw a few mounths back with that same barrel length was $749, so no I would say thats a god price. They shoot realy well too. Have a friend that has one and I shoot it quite often. Fun to shoot, but a bit more expensive than the .44 Mag to shoot!

Yeah, I agree with you. 454 is costly to shoot than the 44 magnum. That RB 454 sure do looks good though. I'll think about it... Thanks for all of your response.

Got back from the range with my Raging Bull. This is one fine Raging 44 magnum... Shot 100 rounds remington 180 grain and Hornady leverrevolution 225 grain. Hardly any recoil felt during the shooting. This is one fine shooting gun. The single action trigger pull is awesome. I'm going to get me another Raging Bull in 454.... Awesome shooting fun...
