Quick...which lever?

For what ever it may be worth, Henry's warranty service was excellent. They immediately replaced the barrel, the ladies were very nice to me and should be able to try it soon.
 
Question for you Henry owners...

The bolt won’t come out for cleaning. The hammer is making contact against the metal where the wood stock is fitted, definitely a high spot there. Basically the hammer won’t lay ‘flat’ enough to pull the bolt out.

Any ideas besides sending it back?
 
Am not sure all the models are made to be able to easily remove the bolt. This may explain why their videos show complete dissembly. My manual doesn't even explain how to, while at least one of their online manuals describe how to remove bolt for cleaning.
 
It’s been a while since I cleaned mine but I believe I removed the hammer to get the bolt out. I think that’s the required procedure. Check YouTube.
