mine changed, got my ccw a week and a half ago and ever since my citadel 1911 is either on my hip or sitting on my dresser, but always loaded and within arms reach
 
CZ P-07 with 16 rounds of Federal Champion 115gr FMJ and another 15 rounds of Remmington 115gr FMJ.

I loaded it for the range and didn't get to go. I'll switch it all out later. Right now it will serve to get me to my other weapons.
 
I don't want to see this thread die. So, I'll follow up on my own post.

CZ P-07 loaded with a mixed mag of 147gr Winchester Ranger ammo. The mags are set up according to a failure drill load somebody suggested. I have two 147gr Ranger Bonded hps followed by a single 147gr Ranger fmj. That is the pattern from top to bottom.

My second mag is in the carry pouch on the holster. It is loaded with Federal Champion 115gr fmj rounds. The Federal and Remington 115gr fmj rounds have been the most accurate for me in this gun. So, I keep a mag around until I find a 115gr hp I like.

I also have a Taurus 732 TCP sitting here with 7 rounds of 73gr Fiochi FMJ. I'm thinking of buying and the guy agreed to let me try it out.

EDIT Actually I forgot I field stripped and cleaned most of it last night except for the slide.
So it's sitting in pieces in my safe in a plastic bin.
 
Skunk Lying Next to the Deck!

I literally had to grab the nearest gun today. I live in the country, and got home after work with the thought of quickly dumping some ant powder around the house to use it up. As I approached my deck, I saw something I've never seen before. A small skunk was lying on its back, facing away from me, right at the corner of the deck next to my house. Apparently, the skunk had been overcome by the heat wave this afternoon, and was having a hard time. Seizing the opportunity to rid the yard of one more pest, I ran to my vault and grabbed the nearest loaded gun from it, which happened to be an FN Hi Power with some 147gr HP's. One to to head, with one more as confirmation (that the skunk wasn't going to come back from the dead), and the next scene was me carting it away in a shovel at full tilt. I barely got perfumed (there was a faint scent gathered by my clothes), but back to the point, sometimes you HAVE to grab the nearest gun!
 
My S&W 1911 is right here as I type. 4 mags 2 Speer Lawman 230gr. Ball and 2 Corbon 165gr. +p (one of these in gun 8+1) 1250ft/sec at 573ft/lbs. I like that round and it shoots great. I swap loads all the time but ususally have Corbons and am going to get some Buffalo Bore.

Nightstand XD9 with Hornaday JHPs. Then in the corner Mossberg 500 with Winchester PDX1 12 HD rounds. Man those PDX rounds are intense. :eek:

I think I may need to put one of the guns away so I don't seem paranoid.

What do you guys think?
 
haha closest on which side? to my left stag model 8 ar15 with 40 gr vmax's in it and a romanian ak47 pistol with wolf 124gr hollow points and my springfield m1a socom II with hornady 150gr sst's in it.......... to my right sig 228 gold dot 124 gr glock 20 double tap 135gr barnes and buffalo bore 180 gr xtp's a smith and wesson m&p 40 with a storm lake .357 sig barrel with extreme shock 95 gr air freedom rounds first 5 shots and winchester sxt 125 gr last 11 shots in mag...lastly a mossberg 590 with bb shot the first 2 rounds and # 4 shot the next 3 rounds and 00 buck the final round with 4 more 00 buck in the stock if i ever went through this ridiculous amount of fire power
