Most of my pistols are .45acp but I have a Beretta 92 & a KelTec PF9 that I just love. Big a fan as I am of the .45, I never feel under-gunned w/ a 9mm.
One of my friends from high school & I were talking on the phone earlier & he mentioned that he sold all his handguns except for the 9mms. His reasons were that now he only has to stockpile one caliber and, more importantly to him, he shoots the 9 better then he does any other caliber. He also mentioned that his wife also carries a 9mm because she shoots well with it.
I think the 9mm is a great round and there are plenty of top quality pistols to choose from. This caliber has lots going for it.
