Question about my MOA gauranteed rifle

I bought a couple of Wby Vanguards(223Rem&257Wby) and was pretty disappointed in their test targets. While they were under the guaranteed spread, it wasn't by much. I've cut those groups by 1/2 or more so now I'm semi-satisfied. I think it's more a selling/advertising point than an actual performance guarantee since most production rifles these days will do MOA with some flavor of factory load on a good day.

I have a T/C Icon in 308 Winchester that came with the factory test target of .32" at 100 yards. The target also stated what brand of ammo the target was shot with. I have not been able to reproduce that but I have gotten several loads in the .75" range. Not counting the scope and rings, I have $400 in the rifle itself.
