Q: Exchangable Cylinders as magazines?

Paladin.....when I refered to cost of spare cylinders, I wasn't considerin throwin em away. Just dropin em can get expensive. Any gun you use for defense or competition should be exercised regularly so that the user becomes/stays proficient. Magazines get dropped at the range, at home, at matches etc etc. A three (or thirty) dollar empty tin GI magazine will most likely not be hurt from dropping. Dropping a precision cylinder is likely to cause disabling damage.....weight of cylinder and precise machining of small surfaces combine to make damage more likely.

Sam....wish GI mags were still three bucks retail.

If anyone has seen the video clips of Jerry Miculek shooting his record strings, you know that a fast reload is very possible. The only difference is that he's done it a few millon times! :D
