Python: price/value. Any levity?

I like going on the Colt forum and telling them that I just paid 5 figures for a NIB Python and then went out and shot the crap out of it! :eek::D
 
Tell them that old guy next door just went to the retirement home and his daughter came over and took his Python to the gun buy back program.
 
Whats it worth?

Hi. Any idea from the experts will be highly appreciated I got as a present a colt Python in ALMOST perfect shape, seems to me it hasn't even been fired at all, has five tiny rust spots, but no wear at all in any of the parts.

The serial of the gun is 12262 so that puts it on the chart being manufactured in 1960.
It's bluefish with brown handle and 4 "barrel
I really don't know much about this so any idea of what it might be worth would help a lot as I'm planning to sell it.
