Every single one of them are beautiful. Thank you all.
So are my three; a stinking Bearded Collie (12 yo), a mellow Sheppard (20 mo), and an extremely hyper Boxer (3 yo). As were my previous various hounds (RIP).

No pics because I'm too lazy to use an additional service to post them thru.

This season around mid november

Awesome dogs guys. I want to get a good hunter. Trying to convince the wife that it'd be better than a stupid furball worthless ankle biter thing...

He's a vacuum cleaner-attacking, cat chasing, leg-humping machine, but I love him anyways. How could you not with a sweet face like that.

Here's my alert hunter with prey .

It's not fully appreciated and recognized but Mastiffs go after the big & dangerous game -

Charley IV with captured tiger, largely just skin only after his carnivorous tendencies are satisfied.

Ignore the guy with the T-shirt promoting machine guns - he's harmless -;)

:D

Man, look at the paws on that guy. OJ- I knew your dogs were big, but that picture puts things into perspective.

Yep - he is the largest one we've ever had over nearly three decades of Mastiffs. The funny thing is - his breeder initially just "placed" him with us as free and we were buying his litter-mate sister for show quality price - he was the runt of the litter and was nicknamed "Danny Di Vito". He wasn't even registered so we registered him as "Farpoint's Charley O'King".

Turned out he was one of a litter of ten and his attitude is to be non aggressive - 10 pups vs 8 nipples. He now is the largest of the litter at 202# - "little" sis is only 199#. We finally prevailed on the breeder to accept pay for him - we couldn't live with the fact he developed into such a superb example of a "Gentle Giant" as Mastiffs are described. We got them at 11 weeks old and she was 31# and he was 30#

We got tired of the show game and just allow ourselves to be owned by them. ;)

His sis carries the registered name of "Farpoint's Fallon In Charge" given by the breeder and she does pick on him but, he is smarter and bides his time and just "gets even" in very subtle ways. We've never had litter mates before and it's been an experience.

Great looking brindle Mastiff but - He doesn't look too happy as a Cornhusker Fan- Maybe he'd rather be a Buffalo fan.;)
