Pssst----Memo to the World!

I love all the Monday morning QB's who come out after an incident and always criticize the result 1 way or the other. In regards to the situation in Israel, they now are condemning Israel for "overkill" in reaction to Hezbollah and Hamas attacks.:barf:
So, in order to eliminate the Monday morning QB's from coming out of the wood work in the future, I would state the following to the World: If we are ever attacked in the manner that Israel has been, I would hope that we will not hesitate to wipe you out completely! This is especially for the Heads States, Diplomats, Peace mongers as well as the United Nations itself. We will not hold any punches and we will not hold back. You want to pick a fight with somebody else---then when you get into the ring after starting the fight, you want to say that I'm hitting you too hard? Apparently I'm not hitting you hard enough if you keep fighting back. Once the fight starts I'm going to hit you until your out. JMHO

Amen to that. I wish would have taken the same approach to Iraq instead of fighting a politically correct war.

Because all those Iraqi attacks on US soil were so utterly devastating....right?

We DID try to begin the Iraq invasion by taking out the top levels of the Iraqi government. We tried hard to get Hussein. We failed.

Redworm,

not really that dense--are you? Who said anything about Iraq attacking US soil? I'm speaking as to how we are fighting the politically correct war in Iraq as opposed to how MoW said to approach the fight.

Do you realize how bad this stuff would be right now if we did not go to Iraq? What would have happened if Saddam was still in power?

jim, you said you wished we'd taken the same approach to iraq...but the two situations are completely different. all of the nations beating each other up have actually suffered attacks from each other. we've never suffered an attack from iraq so to state that we should have taken the same approach would be illogical

why do you feel this is a politically correct war?

Amen +2

knock um out, just like in UFC hit um hard take um down and groud-n-pound till they tap out.....or better yet TKO in first round ;)

MoW:

Although I understand your sentiment, I believe all we need is one man: Bill Clinton.

Now I know you Clinton bashers out there are going to call me a liberal or crazy or both. Smirk if you must, but confront this: In late 2002 at a Toronto Hadassah-WIZO children's charity, Bill Clinton sent this chilling warning to the world: “If Iraq came across the Jordan River, I would grab a rifle and get in a trench and fight and die.”

Okay, I’ll admit, given his anti-NRA stance and rhetoric, Clinton’s probably not familiar with a rifle and probably doesn’t even own one. But he’s a smart guy. It won’t take him long to figure out which end of the barrel the bullets come out of. And I’m sure he has friends who have rifles he can borrow. Maybe that guy who was the last one to see Vince Foster alive. It doesn’t matter; Clinton will find a way. And then look out. Because all you need do is look at Bosnia, Somalia, the Sudan, and the Taliban to know he means business.

Chinese Embassy in Belgrade? Gone. American presence in Somalia? Gone. Aspirin factory in the Sudan? Gone. Empty terrorist training camps in Afghanistan? Gone.

And now the Arab world condemns Hezbollah and not Israel.

Coincidence? I think not.

Right on. Teddy Roosevelt said," try to avoid hitting at all, but if you must, hit hard never softly". I heard some interesting numbers so I checked them and was blown away. In the pacific theatre of WW2 the U.S lost 92,000, those are just battle deaths. Japan? 1.3 million. NOW THATS HOW YOU WAGE A WAR! So was our response to the attack on Pearl Harbor to extreme? I think not. Oh and that figure doesnt count the civilians we torched. Just battle deaths.

While I agree the battles between Imperial Japan and the US produced lopsided casualty counts in our favor, lets not forget the Japanese army was mainly deployed on the Asian continent. Fighting Brits on the frontier of India, Vietnamese rebels, Korean rebels, Multiple Chinese factions and of course at the very end the Soviet Red Army. I believe the key to beating the Japanese (other than the total destruction of their shipping brought about mainly through unrestricted submarine warfare) was the non stop attacks on their civilian population. We broke them (their civilian population) and that is something we seem unwilling to do these days (for the last 56 years actually).

Do you realize how bad this stuff would be right now if we did not go to Iraq? What would have happened if Saddam was still in power?

Erm... nothing?

You mean if Saddam was still in power he would be lobbing his non-existent WMDs into Israel and the US?

Wake up, the government isn't your friend, democrat or republican.

Willie Clinton is politically clever & cunning..but not smart in any sense...as soon he must die, like all of us, and have to explain his life:eek: to God...I wouldn't trade places with him...

me neither.

itll take the collective thinking of everyone involved to resolve it,the ones that are egging it on..good luck, they have a one sided view and enforce it by terrorism.itll mean that they will continue somewhere else until everyone starts to understand that what they are doing will eventually affect everyone, everywhere.
