PSA--steal guns from parents

It is a good thing that the kid "did not feel safe" with the "gun" in his mother's drawer and turned it in before the evil thing jumped out of the drawer and killed everyone in the house.

Buddy and I came up with about six felonies :

Theft of a firearm, Minor in Possession, School Zone, Inside a School, Concealed Carry without a Permit, one count of Endangering a Minor for each kid in the class or on the school bus, and Trafficking in Stolen Property when he hands it to the teacher.

If the teacher accepts it, maybe add some for him/her.

If the school pushed the video in class, add Conspiracy for all concerned.

I like the way you think ...

IMHO this video seems too astonishingly irresponsible to have been intentionally planted by either side of the gun-rights debate.

I'm tempted to surmise that it's agitprop from some outside group trying to stir the pot, but then Hanlon's razor springs to mind.

Perhaps it's a way for parents to get rid of kids-kid steals parent's gun, parent presses charges, refuses to hire lawyer or post bond, etc.
