Prvi partisan ammo

Does anyone have experience with prvi partisan ammo? I found a good price on .303 ammo and I wondered if it was ok ammo. I never heard of it but the gentleman said it was Serbian. I don't need match grade but if it is decent and none corrosive.

It's very good ammo. Not the best. Better than a lot of American Made Ammunition. It's copper jacketed, lead core. Unless it's surplus. Commercial will always be lead core. Surplus will be corrosive but commercial will be non (of course). Very good brass, too.

It's a good deal for what it is. I bought up a bunch awhile back for an 8x57 Mauser. It shot every bit as good as some Hornady Custom ammo I had for the same rifle. Only drawback was that it wasn't loaded for anywhere near as much velocity as the Hornady, but that is common for 8mm Mauser ammo.

never have shot it in 303. I shot it in my 7.5 french, it was decent enough. their brass is good so if nothing else you can shoot it while putting away brass for reloading.

Get it. Good ammo, really good brass in my experience. Perhaps a little down on regulation .303 ball velocities when I chronographed a handful, but their FMJBT ammo shot true to SMLE iron sights out as far as 600 yards for me and put all the bullets on paper whenever I did the right thing, which is what I needed it to do.

I have not hunted with the game bullet varieties in .303 and cannot comment on that aspect.

It shot pretty well in my no.4mk.1,not as good as s&b,but still good.the s&b 180 gr.shot to point of aim at all ranges with the micro rear sight.

Shoots fine in my Enfield #1 Mark III
The price savings is great for $17 or so a box. I saw some Remington a few months back for $34 for 20. With the Privi I can shoot twice as much.

although I haven't used that specific caliber, I am always very pleased with PPU and I really like their brass too

I've never fired Privi .303. I have fired a lot of Privi (or PPU) ammo in other calibers and found it to be above average to excellent. In particular, someone once gave me two boxes of Privi .308 "Match," and it out shot GMM in my Savage M12 VLP.

Just to chime in, PPU 303 ammo is very good, including the brass. Save all your 303 brass, it's 30 cents each for new.

I've been shooting PPU since it was imported under the Hansen Cartridge Company label in the 1980's. Their 8mm Mauser, 7.5 French, 7.62x54, and 7.5 Swiss are all good value.

I mainly buy their 7.5 French for my MAS 49/56, and I do also reload the brass. Recently, I have also been buying their 9MM Makarov ammo as the Russian stuff is harder to get now, and have had good experience with both. I think I've used their .380 on occasion as well. They are well priced, and good quality for plinking ammo.

I shoot Prvi almost exclusively in my Swedish Mauser (6.5x55mm) It shoots as well as the surplus ammo that has dried up.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the .303

I didn't know this was going to blow up so quick so thank you for that. I knew nothing about prvi ammo and i am definitely going with it. Anyone have any experience what shoots better 150 gr. or 180 gr.
