Ok there should be no bashing on this thread because it is very straight forward. I am not asking for advice on buy a gun nor am I asking what your thought on a gun would be. What I am asking you to do is #1 show my your Taurus ( pictures I love pictures ) #2 tell me about your Taurus ( model caliber ) #3 Tell me why you love your Taurus #4 Show me some pictures of your conceal carry( still love pictures) . Ok I will start.

Taurus 617B2 .357 seven shot. Awesome gun only issues were ammo related. Love the fact I can shoot either .357 or 38sp out of her.And very comfortable for conceal carry .

I have a beautiful 1986 model 66 357 magnum--I can't say I love it because the ergonomics of shooting it leave me pretty sore afterwards--but if they ever made a gun that approaches being a collectible classic--I think this is one.

BTW--you must REALLY trust yours--there's no way I'd carry a loaded conceal pointing the way your's is, no matter how many safeties it has! :D

Ooops forgot to upload a photo--so here it is. This weapon and I have a lot of miles, years and trigger-pulling together. I'd never conceal carry it--but I'd like to get a western-style thigh gunslinger holster for it.

I used to own a 6" 66. Excellent gun, wish I hadn't sold it.

But I do own this rather sweet gem.

Taurus 431, made in 1993
3"
5 shot
44 Special
Paid $268 about 10 months ago

I have an IWB holster on order for it, so I'll start carrying it soon. It is quite accurate, balances nicely, and has a pretty smooth DA trigger. It is nearly as nice as a S&W 696 for 1/3 the price.

I was also lucky to own a nice and flawless Taurus 740Slim pistol which I pocket carried with or without a holster depeding on how I wanted to carry.

stainless steel slide that was excellent overall quality and came with 2mags.

next to my M&P40

OK, here's my friend Poly.

Yes, a Judge. Twice the scorn from the "experts"

She's near as trim as my 1991A1 Compact, and XD40 Subcompact.

She accompanies me in my truck, riding along in a cheapo Air Soft holster that fits her to a T, and has Velcro belt flaps that secure it to the side of my drivers seat. When I'm not with her in the truck, she stays comfortable, and secure in a lock box, and extra cable lock attached to the seat frame, and laying in a compartment under the middle seat.
She likes to be fed Winchester PDX1 225 Grain HP 45 Colt, and PDX1 410 Defense Disc ammo. She's also fond of Federal Handgun 410 loads. My Poly gives me a great feeling of security when I travel. Especially in unsavory areas!
But now she longs for her relatives, so I plan to unite her with a couple Taurus kin folk. Namely PT22, and the new arrival Tracker 992!

heres my .357 4 inch 608.

by now you should sense a theme. we love our taurus pistols and revolvers. we trust them and have put thousands of rounds through most of them. (some are newer then others)we have other brands of guns, but honestly i am a die hard taurus fan for life.

Could have done without the 3rd photo!
Sorry did not mean to traumatize the masses. But as you can tell from the photo conceals great.

As the old Falstaff line used to go "The choicest product of the brewer's art":D:D:D

No picture but I have a fine little blued Taurus Ultralight 38 revolver that I can shoot the snot out of.

It's never given me a hickup as has'nt two other 85's and a STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL NO RAIL PT101 -THAT I WISHED I HAD'NT SOLD.

I too have a Taurus 617 seven shot .357 magnum. I've owned it several years and put about 2,000 rounds of 38 special +p, +P+, and .357 Magnum ammo through it. Other than the factory lube gunking up from non use it has worked very well. In no way does it compare to my S&W revolvers but all in all it has been a excellent value.

My 605

(I had someone ask. That's an Uncle Mike's boot grip. They're no longer made. I got mine off ebay.)

I have 3 Tauruses but no camera.

I have an old Model 450 5 shot Snubby, .45 Colt. I'd never part with it.
Next is a Model 94, 4", .22lr.
Third is a Model 605, snubby, .357 magnum. I bought it for a truck gun.

In the past I have owned a couple different Model 85, snubby, .38 specials.
Both were sold to friends or family, who had a need for one.

I have never had a bad Taurus revolver.
