Pros and cons of open carry

Here in Bama you can open carry as long as your on your property(a gime) and on public property, no retail stores. Why limit yourself when all it takes to get a pistol license (as it is called) is twenty bucks and 3 people with clean records to sign it.
The only reason I conceal is I got a fugly Smity revolver with the shiny gone. I want to dress up with a new S&W 686 7-shot.
