Problems regaining sight picture

that does the trick. Honestly I think that's along the lines what I was doing. All I really have to do is a slight wink and it comes into focus. That's what I will work on for now

For me it's grip angle, I actually get back on target faster with a 1911 .45acp, or any gun with a similar grip angle, than a Glock 9mm. The 1911 is just a more natural pointer for me.
 
For a long time I used the push pull method of grip.
And it still seems right for when the gun is kept in close to the chest.
But otherwise the current competition style grip of pushing the gun out toward the target seems better.
It allows the arms and shoulders to assist.
Maybe that takes pressure off of old joints or something.
