privi partizan ammo

I used it a bit when it was sold under the Hansen Cart. Co. name. I used .45 ACP 230gr FMJ. I had a very high frequency of failure to fires. The primer would be strongly struck but the round would not fire. I would have as many as 10 or 12 instances per box of 50. I bought several boxes at the same time so there may have been a lot issue.

I think it's good stuff. When i first started shooting 6.5x55 I shot a bunch of it. I have reloaded some of the brass 6 times.

I've used a lot of Prvi Partizan ammo & have found the brass to be better than RemChester.
I'll put this down to gunshop ninja intel.

I agree. I think this is a case of Range Officer ninjas. They are in a position where people expect them to know what they're talking about, so they think anything coming out of their mouths is gold.

I also agree about PPU being superior to R-P or Win (with their multitude of head stamps). For some cartridges, I have come to prefer the PPU brass. And, it's definitely not any "softer" than the competition. (If you want soft brass, check anything drawn by Federal.... :barf:)
